i can't describe how it feels like to see your bed again with those pillows u slept with since more than a decade ago, still as welcoming as you remembered it was when you left. Some things just don't change, but some things, no matter how DESPERATELY you want it to, just won't go back to the way it used to be. Sad but true. Makes me wonder whether one day i will look back on this day and wish things to be the way it is today. From where i stand now, it sounds hoRRIBLe n unlikely.

Laughter, empty laughter; and pleasures, temporal, decievingly warm, falsely secure.
Life is just empty if the source of your eternal joy isn't from God.

Nevertheless home is home and it's good to be home.

Jess, ivan, lup wai, foogie, lohon, yew jhin, krystle, zhao xing, sam, viv, quiner, wan qian, yee wah, ooi yong, ying roe... its been great seeing you guys again its horrible to think that by the next time i come back some of you would have already gone.... argh.
I've missed everyone :) Ming shiu ar my darling i still haven't seen you yet, and jonathan luo haha its just not meant to be everytime come back oso dun see you.

Kuantan was okay i guess thank God for the beach and a blessed day with the weather so nice and stars so bright despite reports of flooding over there. I now thank God for the family i have though its hard, sometimes, not to wish for a family more perfect. I guess distance can do some good sometimes :) Happy birthday 'cho.

I'm going camping for the first time tomorrow! Haha, or should i call it orienteering. I didn't get to send in laundry yesterday so i have no socks for tomorrow oh no. Will be away on saturday and sunday, won't be at church on sunday sumore. Try not to miss muah too much.

Let's see, what's been up lately...

oh, my dear kichimayom finally came back from home today, kwang ying was so worried yesterday she even called to see where she was... turns out kichimayom's granduncle passed away so she had to stay back in Ipoh for a lil' while longer. N she left us a sweet surprise on our tables this afternoon right after she got back. Hehe, friendship bracelet :P So cute. I'm so gonna miss you kichimayommmmm!!

Been swimming a lot last few weeks. It all started as innocent fun till one day the side lane of the pool wasn't available. Me n kwang ying had to swim in the middle lane and er... let's just say the pool looks 10 times deeper n longer and wider when ur in the middle lane. The uncle working at the swimming pool even suggested that i go over to the baby pool. :( THE NERVE! That was the start of my swimming frenzy haha. I pulled everyone i could get my hands on to swim with me every other day, to n fro to n fro, and YES i've overcome that middle-lane phobia. IN YOUR FACE, UNCLE, IN YOUR FACE!! Muahahahaha....

But this whole week i only swam once coz of the cell group BBQ thingy n of course the announcement the hostel made about the pool being closed to us on public holidays. eesh.

Haha, jie kai, me n wee wee went to aaron's house on tuesday to discuss the BBQ n we ended up having a 5-course meal. Wahaha... it was hillarious, the sight of us stuffing our faces. "Let's discuss food for BBQ after lunch. hUR Hur". Oh n we're gonna be GAMEMASTERS wooohooo!!

N yesterday. me n aaron spent nearly da whole morning in toys'r us looking for the rubberducky we needed for the game prize. Oh n before i forget, aaron was 35 minutes late n jie kai not only woke up late, he even left his wallet at home and only realised when he reached bedok station. Guys. tsk tsk tsk. We then went back to my hostel to do thank you cards. Met up with hui zhen jimmy n REN XIN n went to eat later on. Aiya lazy to recall the details but though the day was close to disastrous, it was funnnee lar. Haha. you guys should see what aaron got for janis from toys' r us. Wahahaha....

Finally today...

Went to school for Oral Presentation rehearsal. Our PD tutor mr. hong gave out prize money in angpau packets to day. He'd promise us that we will be rewarded if we jump 2 grades or more in math for our promos compared to the midyears. But i didn't take the midyear u see, n he PROMISED he'd gimme the prize money as long as i passed my math. I got a B in the end so you'd THINK i'd get it but i didn't :( He probably forgot. Or changed his mind. I didn't pursue the matter coz was rushing to lavender MRT station right after that. But it's so sad lar, i want my 10 dollars.... PLEEEEASSSSEEEEEEE :(

Just realised that my resources are quickly depleting. If my mommy finds out how much (or rather how little) i have left in my bank account she'd probably kill me. But God will provide. He will. Jehovah Jireh :)

Went for church service today, alone. N today's message was on GLORY. it's great haha ps Kong sounded kinda like a motivational speaker but it's practical learning today :) Haven't felt so engaged in prayer for a long time. I prayed with a stranger woman next to me n tears just fell freely... thanks Huizhen for reminding me... PRAYER is of the UTMOST importance.

Need to say goodnight to God now... bye people for now... :)
